More BRIARGLITTER from Chicago to come |
Origins For several years, I have designed gifts for pipe-makers and friends based on my pipe photography. Recently, my holiday designs expanded to include a range of new items, from mugs, magnets and mousepads to T-shirts, ties, and caps. For the 2009 Chicago Show, I decided to make a few extra copies of certain designs and see if other pipe-aficionados might enjoy them. Prices
For these reasons, the prices for Briarglitter designs are set a bit higher than what you might find in a typical souvenir store. Prices are comparable to what many museum shops charge for items based on quality reproductions of fine art.
(The mark-up over my cost is far lower than normal retail, ranging usually from $1 to $5. Several of the items for Chicago incurred extra expenses for expedited manufacture and delivery.) Inventories I have indicated the number of items I originally ordered for each design. I have quite a bit fewer on hand now in most cases. Be sure to ask me about current availability of an item before you place an order or visit Paypal.
Once my stock-on-hand is sold out, I have no current plans to reproduce more of these designs for sale here in The Briar Gallery Shop. I might consider an occasional special order, but the prices for items so obtained may be higher than what is now listed. |
